oh and i like booming bass so i suggest you turn on the subwoofers or switch to your bose on the ear phones to pick up that sub!

as a parting comment, itunes lost my entire music library (well the database, still have the music) whilst I was exporting from garageband. I wonder if its trying to tell me something?

a little backfill: i’ve been really getting into electronica of late, in particular chip music. i’ve always wanted to make my own music, but sadly i’m tone deaf. after checking out a few garage band tutorials, i think i’m close to realising my dream of making my own chip music… Do not fear my protectionist approach to copyright.

whilst this track is not quite chip music, but it’s a start. i nabbed a midi composition of cauldron’s theme music from vgmusic.

yes there are some cliched sound effects, but garage band is a new toy and i’m trying everything out oh a bit of trivia for you, if the cauldron music sounds familiar, its cause its derived from the sound track from halloween!

click on the play icon below to listen to the remix

at some point, i’d love to use sid2midi to make my own midi files (the vgmusic library are compositions based on the original game music). better still get pump sidplay into the line of garage band. the sid chip is of course my preferred chip, because it powered the commodore c64!
